MEI is pleased to announce the closing of a new medical retail lease in the former Providence Urgent Care suite at Best Plaza Shopping Center in Torrance, CA. A new 7-year lease transaction was closed with a regional urgent care facility which expects to open for business in fall of 2023. Dennis and Chelsea of MEI represented the Landlord in the transaction to secure market rents on a long-term deal for the suite with limited TI. The concluding of this deal puts the 98K SF shopping center at 98% occupancy with only two small shop spaces left for lease. The incoming tenant will serve as fabulous co-tenants with the existing fitness/health-lifestyle mix of retailers at Best Plaza. The multi-year lease at the property was negotiated at terms meeting the owner’s expectations and was instrumental in near concluding leasing at the property.
