MEI is pleased to announced the closing of a $5.268M 10-year lease transaction with an upscale furniture concept at 301 Wilshire Blvd. in downtown Santa Monica. Dennis and Chelsea of MEI represented the Landlord in the transaction to secure market rents on a long-term deal for the 6,585 SF hard-corner endcap space. The lease features limited TIs, annual increases and a corporate guaranty. The established furniture retailer is excited to enter the westside market and will serve as fabulous co-tenants with the existing retailers in the surrounding area. The multi-year lease at the property was negotiated at terms meeting the owner’s expectations and was instrumental in concluding leasing at the property which saw a historical 80% vacancy during the pandemic.
