MEI is pleased to announce the closing of a $1.752M 10-year lease transaction with Marmalade Cafe at 525 Santa Monica Blvd. in downtown Santa Monica. Dennis and Chelsea of MEI represented the Landlord in the transaction to secure market rents on a long-term deal for the 3,410 SF former restaurant space. The lease features limited TIs, annual increases and a corporate guaranty. Both Landlord and Tenant will be contributing to install an accordion like window line to introduce indoor/outdoor dining for the incoming concept. The established catering and dining concept will be expanding and relocating from their current westside location and will serve as fabulous co-tenants with the existing retailers in the surrounding area. The multi-year lease at the property was negotiated at terms meeting the owner’s expectations and was instrumental in concluding leasing at the property.
